DESCRIPTION:We are officially into the summer. So let’s celebrate by sipping cool beverages and enjoying an evening of warm fellowship while having a fun magical evening. It is time once again for our annual “Christmas in July.” This means a time of gift giving and receiving. We have invited members of the Austin S.A.M. Assembly #206 to join us\, too. Why wait until December? \n\nFor those not familiar with what we do\, we exchange “white rabbit” (think “white elephant”) gifts with one another. Numbers are selected by each person who brought a gift. Then participants will select a gift from the table (in numerical order). If you prefer\, then you can “steal” someone else’s gift rather than picking a wrapped gift. But “steals” can only happen twice. After a gift is “stolen” the second time\, then that gift can no longer be “stolen.” \nEveryone is encouraged to participate by bringing a wrapped gift\, (preferably something magic related) with a value of no more than $25; however\, if you have something in your closet or garage that has more value and you can’t wait until next year’s auction\, then wrap it up and bring it along. \nIt’s going to be a hootin’\, hollerin’ great evening of fun. And there may even be Christmas cookies served with sodas! If you like to bake\, then feel free to bring some treats for the group. We can never have too many sweets.
